Not sure what I'm rating. It's a Dam. A pretty good size one as well. They do have multiple parking lots, grills and picnic spaces near it and the visitor center is free and very interesting
There's an accessible beach for swimmers that stays packed in the summer.other side of dam has a picnic shelter and beach that for some reason stays locked.river side has a nice park and pic nic shelters.with amazing fishing up against the dam when it's generating
Beautiful lake. Serene. Nice recreational area. Walking/Bike riding path. Came a few days after the rain, but it was so peaceful. A must visit.
Nice place to fish, have a cookout, or picnic. You can swim, but there are no lifeguards. There are swimming spots at palmer point, Rudd's creek, and at buffalo park.
Love North Bend Campground! Beautiful view, spacious sites.
Very well maintained campground. Very friendly staff. Sites are nice and level. Only negative is sites are not very private. Not all lake sites are right on the water.
It was over run with Hispanic people 15 to 20 in a camp site. Music all night. alcohol on display. Generators running all night. Tents on the beach. I went there on a fishing trip with a friend. But I wouldn't take my wife and kids.
Amazing lake! So beautiful! Almost never busy or crowded.
